    • Treasury’s main use is seed money for Conferences
    • Other uses: Section projects and Petitioning events
    • We have in our Section account around $4,000
    • Ideas for the money:
      • Leadership Institute Scholarship Fund
        • 1 brother, per chapter, per year
        • Comments:
          • Rory (staff)- Interested in finding out how quickly the money had amassed.
            • Chair explained we would roughly use at most $400 a year.
              • SIDETRACK: Dues are $2.00 per brother per semester making sure money will continue to flow through the section.
        • Motion
          • Motion was made for the section to promote the aforementioned scholarship fund as a Section by Eric from ADH, SUNYA; Second from Becca (also from ADH)

  • Newsletter Editor: Shannon Grant (not present-Spreee filled in)
    • Plea to chapters to submit materials for newsletter
  • Alumni: Katrina LaDuke
    • Implementing a new contact database.
    • Urges all President and/or Voting Delegates to fill out form.
    • Database is a means to promote relations throughout the different chapters and bridge gaps between alumni and brothers.
    • Plans to load database onto the website.
  • Website: Webmaster Alyssa Pasquale (RPI student)
    • Lots of good information at www.apo88.org
    • Updated regularly
    • Listserv sign ups are there as well
    • Will have page to add your info to section contact list.
  • Leadership Development Coordinator: Sabrina Metzner
    • Brand new position
    • Please contact Sabrina when you are interested in starting any kind of leadership workshop including LAUNCH.
    • Sabrina can also help spread the word to other chapters about your workshop.
    • She also has the responsibility of informing you when she hears of any new events around your area.
  • Fellowship Coordinator: Rich REV Vehlow
    • REV gave us an update on the annual summer picnic
      • There were 40+ brothers
      • Lots of active Brothers, but would like to make it possible for more to go this summer.
    • REV is looking to place the picnic in a location that better fit the needs of active brothers such as downstate.
    • REV will be soliciting for ideas and comments – send ides for summer fellowship to REV
    • Comments
      • COURTNEY (staff): Agrees that downstate will have the more brothers during the summer season.
      • KAT (alumni): concerned that might burden our northern NY brothers
      • SPREEE: assures us this is just ideas and our only job is to go back and to talk to our chapters and give us back feedback.
      • BECCA (active ADH brother): advises us to look at state parks throughout the NY area.
      • SPREEE (chair): Expresses his undying love for the Capital Region area but willing to go where the people are.
  • Service Coordinator: Ed Pollack
    • National Service Week (Nov 3-9)
      • Theme: Building a Sound Mind
      • Check website for info- Simple form to fill out
    • Section Service project
      • November 15 from 4-7pm
      • Hosted by Plattsburgh ABX: cooking dinner for spaghetti dinner fundraiser for a charity that helps children from homes with domestic violence.
    • There were no service workshops this weekend so in case you if have any questions or comments please let Ed know.

        • Mike Jablon (active ADH brother): wanted to take the time out and thank Alyssa Pasquale (Active EZ brother) for organizing service projects during the summer.

    • Mu Omicron - Clarkson University
      • Celebrated their 45th Anniversary as a chapter
      • Pledge class of 8
      • Paintball was a positive rush event
    • Alpha Delta Eta - SUNY Albany
      • 10th Anniversary is coming up
      • Hosting LAUNCH in the near future
      • Pledge class of 8
    • Theta Kappa - Binghamton
      • Pledge class of 26
      • Lots of Service being done
    • Alpha Beta Chi - SUNY Plattsburgh
      • Chapter is working well this semester.
      • Has covered a variety of projects this semester covering all four fields of service
      • Especially proud of their LFS weekend encompassing all three in one weekend including a leadership workshop
      • Pledge class of 11
    • Xi Rho - Oneonta
      • Hosting conference next fall
      • Excited about their service for this semester
      • Hosting a Halloween Party next Saturday the 25th-Contact immediately if interested
    • Kappa Phi - St Lawrence
      • Pledge class of 22 with only 14 brothers
      • Focusing on the pledges this semester
      • Each Pledge has come up with one Service idea to implement

      • Thanks everyone for coming to their Sectionals

    • Alpha Gamma Delta - New Paltz
      • We all need to work together to help bring New Paltz out of all their difficulties.
      • Staff will update you on upcoming events concerning their chapter.

        • Set up listserv for Siena
        • Integrate LFS with chapters close by
        • Oneonta, RPI and SUNYA should alert Courtney about events

      • Marist needs 10 undergrad interested before we can be official
